Colin Beckett joined University Advancement in 2025 as assistant director, annual giving. In this role, he helps implement annual giving campaigns, collaborates with advancement and campus partners to support mass-marketing and crowdfunding efforts, and works to sustain and grow the university’s philanthropic base of support.
Beckett brings 15 years of communications experience in the fields of film distribution, publishing, and advancement. He comes to LMU from the School of Los Angeles, where he served as an advancement associate, assisting with grant management, annual giving, and admissions. Prior to that, Beckett spent a decade as a freelance editor, writer, and publicist, primarily in the sphere of publishing.
Beckett earned a bachelor’s degree in visual arts from Fordham University. In his free time, he enjoys books, movies, and spending time with his dog.
