Chelsea Boxwell joined University Advancement as assistant director of regional engagement in 2022. She brings six years of experience as a co-founding member of the Claremont Graduate University (CGU) Alumni Board where she currently serves as MFA chair, executive committee member, and communications committee leader. Boxwell received her Master of Fine Art from Claremont Graduate University in 2017.
In this role, Boxwell will work with Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties alumni relations, engagement, and events. She comes to LMU after receiving numerous awards for outstanding service to the CGU Alumni Association Board and greater CGU alumni community.
Boxwell received her undergraduate degree in fine arts from the University of North Texas. Born and raised in Houston, she travels back to Texas often to visit friends and family. She is a multi-disciplinary artist who actively shows paintings and large-scale installations in Los Angeles art galleries and public art locations. In her free time, you may find her at an art gallery, museum, or relaxing at home with her pug.
