LMU Wine Classic is a fundraiser for LMU student scholarships that features over 40 of California's premium wineries with more than 150 wines, including rare vintages.
The LMU Wine Classic would not be possible without the innovative leadership of Arthur P. Carroll, Jr. ’61, founder of Wine Classic. For 39 years, Art’s appreciation for fine wine combined with his passion for philanthropy has grown into a tradition that has raised more than $1 million in support for student scholarships.
Eighty-six percent of undergraduate students at LMU receive some form of financial aid. Though this year’s event won’t take place as we had envisioned, Carroll’s passion and commitment remain strong. In lieu of an in-person Wine Classic to benefit student scholarships, we are pleased to announce the establishment of the Arthur P. Carroll Endowed Scholarship, to honor the founder of LMU Wine Classic and to continue to support LMU's students.
The 40th annual Wine Classic will be celebrated on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, provided it is safe to do so at that time.
