About the Arthur P. Carroll Jr. Endowed Scholarship

For 43 years, LMU Wine Classic founder Arthur P. Carroll Jr. ’61 combined his appreciation for fine wine with his passion for philanthropy to create a beloved tradition that has raised more than $1.6 million for student scholarships. During the pandemic, the university established the Arthur P. Carroll Jr. Endowed Scholarship in lieu of an in-person LMU Wine Classic to honor the event’s founder and continue supporting LMU's students. After Carroll passed away in 2021, his signature annual event was renamed the LMU Arthur P. Carroll Jr. Wine Classic, reflecting the thriving legacy of a dear friend as well as the students and graduates whose LMU education he helped make possible.

LMU Wine Collective 2026 Release

artwork by Curbside Collective, an artist group composed of LMU alumni and faculty.

Each year, the LMU Wine Collective creates a special, limited-edition blend. In 2025, our 2022 GSM from alumni-owned Costa de Oro Winery, featuring a custom label designed by LMU students and faculty, sold out. Don’t miss your chance to own this year’s exciting varietal: a special, limited-edition sauvignon blanc produced exclusively for LMU. The 2026 release will debut at the Wine Classic, and every purchase will support LMU scholarships.
