Erin Hanson joined University Advancement as associate director of annual giving, colleges and schools in 2004. She brings 20 years of experience in higher education advancement. As associate vice president, donor relations, stewardship, and special events, Hanson is responsible for a team that manages LMU's donor stewardship efforts, donor recognition and the management of LMU's Board of Trustees and Board of Regents. She also serves as the assistant secretary for the Board of Trustees.
She came to LMU from UCLA, Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science as the assistant director of corporate relations and special events, where she managed the corporate partnerships for the school. Prior to this, Hanson worked in major gift fundraising, accounting and elementary education.
She earned a B.A. in psychology from UC Irvine and a master's degree in education from Pepperdine University. In her free time, Hanson enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with friends.
