Bonnie Harris Hayden joined University Advancement as executive director of development, gift planning in 2023. She is responsible for developing relationships with donors and advisors as well as strategic fundraising through training, educating, and collaborating with internal and external partners. She brings over 17 years of experience as an estate attorney and 14 years of experience in development with major and planned giving.
Hayden comes to LMU from the American Heart Association where she served as senior advisor, charitable estate planning for the Western United States. Prior to that, she worked with Morris Animal Foundation, Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation, Junior Blind of America, and started her career in private practice.
Hayden has a J.D. from Southwestern School of Law and a B.A. in philosophy and political science from New York University. In her free time, she loves to create art and spend time with her partner Jason and her dog Noodle.
