Laura Ball joined University Advancement in 2023 as special events manager. She brings 10 years of experience in marketing, event planning, and management. As special events manager, Ball supports the philanthropic efforts of Athletics and Graduate and Professional Programs.
Ball comes to LMU from Expel, where she helped establish the company’s first partner marketing program by managing partner and field events for the Northeast region. Prior to this, she managed tradeshows and conferences for the North America and Asia-Pacific regions for Collaborative Solutions and gained experience in user-group conferences, sporting events, corporate functions, and networking events.
Ball earned a Bachelor of Science from University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is currently a master’s candidate in San Diego State University’s meeting and event management program. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, watching “Jeopardy!”, and hiking with her dog, Finn.
