Melissa Bersofsky joined University Advancement in May 2019, advancing into her role as executive director of development, principal gifts in 2021. She brings more than 15 years of experience within the field of higher education.
Most recently, Bersofsky served as executive director of development at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, where she led a major gifts team that completed the final phase of a campaign, surpassing its goal of $150 million. Prior to that, Bersofsky spent 10 years at UCLA in several development roles, including director of development and alumni relations for the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and director of young alumni and student giving for the UCLA Fund.
Melissa earned her Ed.M. from Harvard University's Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in psychology from Cornell University.
