Executive Director of Advancement, Loyola Law School
Carmen Ramirez joined Loyola Law School's Advancement Office as director of alumni relations and annual giving in 2002 and was promoted a year later to executive director of advancement, overseeing marketing, alumni relations and the annual fund. She has witnessed firsthand the full cycle of students starting as applicants to graduates. Ramirez's career at Loyola began more than 35 years ago and has included working in the Admission Office and Registrar's Office. Her tenure at Loyola Law School has allowed her to build and maintain close relationships with students, alumni, faculty and staff. As executive director of advancement, Ramirez is responsible for alumni and donor engagement. She earned a bachelor's degree from Loyola Marymount University. In her free time, Ramirez enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys cooking and painting, but admits she is no master chef or artist!
