What is this?

LMU is here because thousands of alumni have given to support our community of student scholars. Senior Legacy is about leaving your mark for future generations. You do that by making a charitable gift to any fund at LMU. You choose what you want to support — your college, service/Greek organization, on-campus club, etc. — after all, it's your legacy!

Why should I do this?

  1. Discover the joy of giving. After graduation, you begin the journey of adulthood – job searching, apartment hunting, bill paying, etc. With these responsibilities comes the incredible feeling of honoring your own philanthropic passions. Think about how much LMU means to you.
  2. Enhance the value of your degree. U.S. News & World Report uses alumni giving as a factor in determining university rankings. Rankings directly affect the value of your degree. Giving to LMU annually shows your pride in your LMU experience, and it increases our national prominence.
  3. Make a difference. Your gift can provide student scholarships, financial aid, campus improvements, support our low student to faculty ratio, and sustain your most beloved on-campus organization. Designate your gift to where it matters to you!

Who can participate in Senior Legacy?

Any senior in the Class of 2018 can participate.

What if I want to give less than $10?

You can! Any gift — no matter the size — is generous. Even if it's just $1, your gift counts toward alumni participation, and ultimately our rankings in the prestigious U.S. News & World Report. Every gift counts!

Where does my gift go?

It goes to any on-campus fund you want! The giving page provides you with more than 250 designations on campus. Please note: only one designation per gift.

When can I participate?

Anytime between now and May 31st, 2018.
