University President David W. Burcham has launched the Loyola Marymount University Scholarship Initiative with the goal of raising $100 million over the next three years. These funds will be strictly for undergraduate and graduate need-based scholarship aid.
During its first 100 years LMU has grown into a top-tier university committed to developing each student as a whole person by integrating intellectual pursuits, spiritual intentions and social actions – a call to human excellence. Students of all backgrounds are attracted to LMU because they, and their parents, recognize the lifelong value of a Jesuit and Marymount education.
However, to effectively compete with other top universities that are also working to recruit the brightest students, we must be able to offer adequate scholarship packages to the applicants we select.
We invite you to join the LMU Scholarship Initiative which is critical to our mission, and to our continued success as a world-class institution. Perhaps no other philanthropy has as great an impact on a student.
On the Existing Scholarship page, to the left, you will find established scholarships that would benefit from your generosity. You may also choose to name a scholarship. Details on how to do so can be found here.
